Christine’s Cuisine: Authentic Italian-Mexican Fusion in Ferndale

Christine’s Cuisine is one of my favorite restaurants in Detroit!! They have the best pierogis I’ve EVER tried! I can’t wait to show and recommend this place to everyone. The pasta is delicious & comes with a yummy roll, and the onion rings were cooked to perfection. The staff is always very friendly and you can seat yourself anywhere you want (at least both times I was there). I seriously crave their pierogis weekly — and they are also delicious to heat back up when you get home for the next day. I love supporting this restaurant and cannot wait to return!!!

This place is amazing! I love Christine’s! It is very fresh, it always smells of good food when I come in and the service is excellent. Especially the lady who kindly delivers to me all the time! I’ve personally read some reviews about the potato salad and other things, and had to make my own comment, I absolutely love your Ukrainian potato salad, I love your salads and I love the tina burger! This place is inexpensive and always a good place.

Great food! Specials are updated weekly. The staff is always very helpful and friendly. Super cozy atmosphere which is great for a low key date, a night out with the family, or even solo. Highly recommend the beef burgundy, pierogis, or anything really! Excellent value and I can honestly say we’ve never had a bad meal from Christine’s.

We were visiting Detroit, and Christine's turned up as a highly recommended place that happened to be nearby when we were hungry. Thank you to the Local Guides and others that led us here. The only issue I encountered was having too much of a good thing - I ordered a St. Patty's omelette, and the server asked me if I wanted everything with it. I should have asked for details, because the omelette not only came with an terrific side of their potato hash, but also had a substantial amount of potato as part of the corned beef hash inside. The highlight at our table was my wife's side order of 3 pierogies (which she was kind enough to share). They came with carmelized onions, which were the perfect addition (along with sour cream, of course). Christine's was a wonderful place for a quick meal with friendly service.

Small dinner type setup with easy walkin dining. We had 7 people, including a 3.5 year old and a 1.5 year old. The food was good and found something to order. The Borscht and beef burgundy was good.

Today I got lunch from a Ukranian Restaurant called “Christine’s Cuisine,” the fish buritto was really delicious! The rice inside of the buritto was not soggy or dry and it was cooked perfectly, the beans were excellent and the fish was flaky and delicious. I really enjoyed the breading on the fried fish in the fish taco. Miss Nichole was very kind and friendly. I'm very happy with my experience here and may Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta’ala grant this business much success!

Eastern European diner...I had the schnitzel sandwich with potato salad for only $8.95. It was pretty big too. The sandwich was great, but that tater salad...yum. I am usually not a fan of potato salad at all but this stuff was 10/10. The rest of their menu looked pretty good. My girl liked her fish and chips. Prices are fair, staff is friendly, diner is small but cozy. Nice little local staple that is for sure worth trying.

It had been a long time since I visited Christine’s but recently I’ve been there multiple times. I could eat the kapusta (baked sauerkraut) every day. The portions are very generous and the flavors are on point. The salads are especially excellent. Desserts are massive and taste fantastic also. Incredibly kind service as well.
